Probably a 4 for me (the first).
Definitely a 1.5 for my younger sibs (I think they were tired....)

On the whole, they were pretty "free range" in their parenting. It worked. We all turned out just fine.

We were taught manners and life skills. My sister and I grew up to be responsible adults.

Dad: 7

Mom: 2

They were both mostly fair, but my dad did tend to overreact a bit (his mom was pretty intense). They taught us what we needed to know, stressed the importance of education, and instilled the most important attributes of being a decent human - fairness, empathy, work ethic, etc.

My parents were not strict, they were nuts. I liked to read science fiction, and if they found one of my books they would burn it.

Mine were about a 4.

My wife and I were about a 8 for the older and 5 for the younger. So far, they have basically turned out similar. We have 6 children.

Probably a 2 or 3. And that's what I am with my kids.

My father was 10+, mother about 4. That eventually led to their divorce after 9 kids and 20+ years.

Not overly strict, fair. My one brother and I were obedient children anyway, my other brother got into more trouble, but nothing serious, nothing involving the police.....I'm not sure what number that would be.......we had a good childhood.

My parents had a lot of kids. For the older ones, it was probably 6 or a 7. Teen siblings had curfews for dates, and I remember a brouhaha about the length of my oldest brother's hair in the late 60s.

As a younger child, my bedtimes were later than what my older siblings had at that age. If I was in the neighborhood, I didn't tell them where I was going. With me, I would say their strictness started out as a 3 and slid towards a 1 or a 0 in my last two years of high school. By then, my parents weren't home for large stretches of time. I had free rein, and got away with a few escapades, but mostly I just didn't do bad things.
