But already, about 30 students have been forced to quarantine for two weeks, though it's not because of a lapse in school protocol. Instead, it's because of what the mayor calls "egregious" judgment on the part of one teen's parents, reports WHDH. They sent their son to school on Monday knowing he had just tested positive for COVID-19.

It’s surprising how common this is. My SIL knows one woman who dropped her college aged daughter at school. The woman knew she had Covid, but didn’t want to miss out in the milestone. She infected the entire quad.
Another woman knew she had Covid, got on a 4 house plane ride. People don’t care. It’s amazing.

It is hard to imagine that grown adults can be so self-centered and inconsiderate of others.
