Hear goes out to the Parents of the Bot Scouts (day care, boys)

I heard the story last night about the tornado that went through the area of the Boy Scout camp in Iowa. I can understand as a Mother what those parents must of been feeling with their children there. To those parents of the 4 boys who died it is so sad and the many others who are injured. Just to have had that exerience would be terrible. From the story on the news it showed how those Boy Scouts help other people in the area. It I think showed that although we hear stories that are negitive about kids , there so many kids out there that understand what helping others mean. I also think as boys get older they may find it uncool to be in scouts. I know in the days to come we will hear more details of this story. It hasn't been a good Summer so far for many , the weather has been deadly and many people have lost their homes it is only the start of Summer.

My prayers go out to all the parents who had boy's at the camp. My 14yr old son is leaving for Scout Camp on Mon. I'm always nervous when the boy's are at camp.

I know around here in Michigan on the local news tonight they did a story about how other camps handle this situation and other places that your kids go, You would be surprised how many places for adults or kids don't practice a tornado drill even though they should. Day cares are suppose to do it .
