Cartoons with values and morals...lol

Which ones did you enjoy?
I used to love Looney Tunes. I too loved the wholesome morals! Bugs Bunny giving Yosemite Sam an exploding cigar, countless numbers of hotfoots, Wyle E dropping off a 500ft precipice, Daffy Duck getting his bill blown off by a shotgun!!

At home, my 2yo watches Signing Time and Sesame Street on PBS. We will occasionally watch other shows on PBSKids or Noggin too, but not enough for me to know their names. When I pick her up at daycare, they will often have that Yo Gabba Gabba show on, and man, that show drives me crazy - but my daughter is always glued to it!

Man I know. I can't figure out why they don't show looney tunes so much anymore. A little cartoon violence, drinking, and tobacco use surely didn't alter opinions at that young of an age.

Remember Bugs Bunny getting those hillbillies to clobber each other senseless while improvising a square dance?

Priceless!

Nahh.. no stereotyping going on there! LOL

Default Ben 10

Ben Ten is one of the few ten year olds that I have heard of who can turn into a dinosaur when required to keep the streets safe.

I never really liked cartoons as a kid myself. Although I do remember what a previous poster said about the hillbillies clobbering each other and Bug Bunny doing a dance. That WAS hilarious.

My kids only get PBS on our TV. At ages 4 and 6 their favorite, by far, is Cyberchase.

I can still remember getting up at the crack of dawn to watch Saturday morning cartoons that would run to 10:30 or 11 am. There is nothing much to watch these days, My grandsons refuse to get up to watch cartoons now (if that is what the industry still calls them). Too much action and fantasy stuff.

We all enjoy Spnge Bob Square pants. My 10 and 6 year old gransons are keen to Ben 10, but the little one sometimes has night mares about Ben 10's mis-adventures.

You tube is the only place lately to still watch a good Road runner or Bug Bunny cartoon. What a shame.
