Full name statistics?
I know there are sites that list how common first names are, but I was wondering is there are any sites that list how common first+middle name combinations are. Or how common first+last name combinations are.
I think I came across a site once where you could type in a full name, and it would list how many people the census has recorded under that name. But I can't remember the link.
Any ideas?

When you mean first + middle, do you mean the way we ordinarily use them (for instance, Fiona Louise Kelly, who would go by Fiona L. Kelly).... or do you mean something like Mary Rose Callahan, who would be called the whole "Mary Rose" by her friends?
For a local snapshot of how common a first name-last name combination is, there's always the phone book...mine has a whooooooole lot of Patrick Kellys but only one Iobhar Farrell, for instance. And, you guessed it, I needed to find our local carpenter Patrick Kelly and just gave up after about the seventh wrong number!!
Hurrah for unusual names! LOL
Are you choosing a name for a baby perhaps, or just curious, or??? (sounds interesting!)

Yes. I think that's it. Thank you!
As for middle names, I meant in the conventional sense. It would be interesting if I could find a similar site for first+middle combinations.
And I'm doing research for my sister, actually. She's having her first kid.

It's an interesting subject: I remember reading long ago (before internet links I believe) an article about how there seem to be "families" of names. For instance, if a family had a daughter named 'Barbara', they were very likely to also have a daughter named 'Ann'...I think 'Daniel' and 'Scott' was another pair, as was 'John' and 'Brian'.
Apparently the same worked with first & middle names, so many Margarets have Mary for a middle name for instance, and many Pauls are Paul Anthony. I wish I could remember the magazine; I believe it was something like Time or whatever.
But the first + last name combination is interesting: are the families with a particular last name naturally inclined to a particular first name to go with it, for instance? Hmmm. I'd love to hear what you come up with in your search, if you could post it!

I see you found what you were looking for, but as for name curiosities, this site is my favorite:
NameVoyager | The Baby Name Wizard
it graphs the popularity of names over time.
