Actually, being a parent can be a very humbling experience...may do you some good.

[quote=Topaz;4807447] And parenthood is like walking through a door to a world that you can only experience once you've walked through the door...you really can't adequately describe the emotions to anyone who hasn't joined you through the doorway. Parenthood is one way to really experience life very fully.

Can you try to describe those emotions.

What is it that makes it so amazing?

I also wonder about that desire, I never had that desire to want kids.

Rakin, being childfree, people always ask me that stupid question. I'm clearly saying calling that a stupid question because these people are already parents and just making that the childfree will be all alone in the future. I can take care of myself. I have a retirement plan; after I retire on whatever job I take, when I get older, I can relocate to a home.

That's very good planning. It's lucky for you that other people are providing the next generation of humans to work in those homes and take care of you.

PS What's with this new affectation of using the made-up word 'childfree'??? If I were born blind would I be 'sightfree' ??? I become unemployed, am I 'jobfree'??? When my mother dies, will I be 'motherfree'??? You are silly.

You're just saying that because you're obviously a parent and parents often say the dumbest excuses to try and discourage some people.
