i cant even believe these stories. and where was this woman's mother?!!!! she was upstairs raising her grandchildren. i mean what is wrong with these people.??? i understand he was "all powerful"--but be damned!!! i would have run to the police in week 1...no way i would have let that go on for 24 freaking years!!!!
and what kind of sickness makes you rape your own daughter and father her children and keep them in a basement!!!!!

This story is very sad. So is the "hands off" approach most people have with their neighbors these days. Be aware, keep your eyes and ears open, and don't be afraid to stand up for those that cannot do so for themselves.
