Chinese calender for gender prediction (method, baby, pregnant, girl)

I am a new member, i have 3 yrs old cute girl, now we r planning for 2nd kid, we wish to have a baby boy this time if girl also its fine for us, just i want to take a chance by chinese calender.
But i dont know about that, can any one tell me the favorable months to for baby boy in 2008 and 2009.
My DOB is 17th JUne ,1978

If you google Chinese Calendar gender prediction, you will find that it is used to determine the sex of a baby already conceived. I guess that if you are able to become pregnant on a specific day, you could use it to try to determine sex. BUT, I checked mine, and it wasn't accurate. It wasn't even accurate within a few days.

I'm guessing it isn't a very reliable source of prediction.

Not Chinese calendar, it's called Chinese method. Basically, the closer to ovulation you have baby dance, you'll get a boy (based on the assumption that male-chromosome-bearing sperm travels faster). If you want a girl, baby-dance 3-4 days before the O-day. The male-bearing sperm would die off by that time, but the female-bearing sperm will finally reach the egg.

Looking back, that's what happened to my kids' gender. Though of course it's not a 100%-proof method.

The Chinese calendar is just like an old wives' tale.

The Billings method of choosing what sex you want is what nuala posted. If you time intercourse closer to ovulation, then the baby is more likely to be a boy. More than a couple of days before ovulation, nad the baby is more likely to be a girl.

Both of my kids should have been boys using that method, but my youngest is a girl.

Yep it dont work, it said our 2nd one was going to be a girl and she is pregnant with a little boy, course it did say our first would be a girl and it was right but i think it had a 50% chance of getting it right so ya know.

I want to get pregnant on Aug.2009 however its a girl....I would like a boy....what month is best based on Chinese Calender ? I am born on 1/1/1978....If anyone conceived when they were 33 yrs old Lunar age and gave birth to a boy leave a message what month worked?
