Lost contact with daughter - need to find
My husband is looking for his daughter. He was 15/16 and the mother was 17/18 when the daughter was conceived. The mothers first name was Rose and she lived in the Goldwaite/Brady area. The daughters name was Amanda and she was born in 1983/84. The fathers 1st name is Roger.
The mother informed the father she was pregnant and then disappeared, as he didn't act like he wanted anything to do with the girl or the child. But he was in shock. A few weeks (3-4) later, he went to try to find her and couldn't. It was a mostly casual relationship and he didn't have much information on the mother.
When the daughter was in her teens, she attempted to find her father. His family was from Brownwood. She was lead to believe that her father was in prison. This was actually her grandfather in prison. He passed some time ago and we have an old address for the daughter. The mail we sent to the address was returned with no forwarding. Through many years of searching, we have been unable to find the daughter, as we don't even have a birth date for her.
The last known address was 9798 Lake June Rd #1058, Dallas, Tx 75217.
If anyone out there knows an Amanda that lived at that address about 10 years ago, or whose mother was from the Goldwaite/Brady area and her name is Rose, please let us know.
Since we found out that she was actually looking for my husband, we have tried to find her. We know that nothing can make up for the time that was lost between the 2 of them as she was growing up. But we would like to get to know her and her family and let her know that we do care and love her and are here if she needs us.
THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!

Have you tried googling her? Or have you considered putting this in the newspaper there? I know Dallas is big but all it takes is one person who knew, or knows Amanda to tell her about it.

Try posting a search in the City-Data's People Search forum. Put as much info. as you have like last names of the mother Rose and or the Daughter's if you know it. (those are crucial and makes searching easier) There are a lot of great searchers on that forum that can hopefully be of some help. Good Luck!!

Have you tried My Space or Facebook? Most young people are on one or both.

Do a search: Find Family Members
Or hire an investigator.
The last thing I'd be doing is posting a bunch of private ID information about a minor on the internet.

This is a great idea. Most teens have connections in one or the other.
What kind of suggestions do you have for finding the youngster on one of these sites?
I know on Facebook she can be look for by school or area. Perhaps she's listed in her old school or neighborhood.

If she was born in the early 80s, she's not a minor... but I do see your point.
Good luck with your search!
