I agree that homosexuality is wrong and a sin. But things like divorce, having premarital relations, etc are also sins. Would you not accept your child for doing those things?

What I find laughable about this, you actually care more about the people of your CHURCH and other family members than your own child.

Why does your child need your approval to be who he or she is? Since when does a parent determine how a child turns out. As a parent all you can do is try to instill the values and practices that you think are right. You cannot control who your children are or what they do any more than another person can control what you do or think.

With that train of thinking, I hope you never have children.

It literally breaks my heart that in this day and age I still some indivduals that would not accept their child based on sexual orientation...

My son is not but if he were? My feelings would not change for him one bit...he is still the same child I gave birth to, raised and adored...
I am ready to walk the talk..I am an advocate for equal rights of the GLBTQ community...
I have dear friends I have known since gradeschool male and female that are gay and lesbian my feelings never changed one bit, I am empathetic to their struggles and hardships they face and the freedom they lack...

Both friends have stated to me that they would not change for the world however that this was not a decision they made and could they wake up one morning and be "straight" for the sake of their families? They would.
