My 7 yr old daughter wrote me a note in a Christmas card last night (this in itself is pretty common, both of them love to use stationery to write family little notes/say I love you), it was the sweetest thing anyone's ever told me. It was quite cute because she even broke it up into the "greeting card" stanzas, rather than one long line . She said that the greeting cards always say things that aren't very interesting or nice. This is what she wrote, I'll keep spelling/grammar as is without correcting it.

"There is holidays
but every day is
a holiday because
I have you."

What's the sweetest thing your little one (or older one!) has said to you?

My 4 year old asked me just the other day...."Mommy, when it's time for us to get married, will Daddy move away? I don't want him to....we can just switch bedrooms okay?

Those are so cute. My three year old will take my hand and say, "We can be friends mommy." And she calls my husband "Moddy" instead of Daddy...it's her morphed version of "my daddy". I absolutely love when she calls him that.

"Moddy" how adorable! I love the funny little words kids invent. It's also pretty funny when they combine words, the other day my 6 yr old said "jalapinon" hehe, trying to say jalapeno (we have pinons here too, pine nuts).
