Diapers
I have a 2 year old that while she takes her nap undresses herself and takes her diaper off. I have tried the clothes backwards and the diaper backwards. I guess she has talent. Anyway what I think bothers me is that they make diapers so a 6 month old could take them off. I have seen kids breal open the diaper just by sticking their tummies out. Does anyone buy a good diaper that has tape on them like they use to.

How about pull-ups? Can she undo their sides?

Pull ups is a good idea, I don't think they velcro, (I can't remember) It's like wearing underwear, and maybe you can introduce the potty training at the same time as pull ups...I started potty training dd at like 18 months and was fully trained by 2.5.

Pull ups are really easy to get off all you have to do is pull them down. They use to make diapers with tape on them.. anyone remember?

Is she ready for potty training?
I use Huggies, but I don't think they have that tape you mentioned. You could just pull out the electrical tape and keep some scissors nearby.

I actually was frustrated with GENERIC pull-ups because they were so hard for a little girl to pull down, they were hampering potty training rather. They do not have any velcro or tapes, they have elastic sides, as if to make it easier to expand, which is not. I had to tear those sides, irregularly - there were no opening provided. We have these generic pull-ups in superstores in Canada, I don't know about USA.
However, if we are talking about her pulling off anything, then there's not much choice - either some kind of bondage or potty training.

I don't think any have tape anymore. Not like you are thinking of anyway (the kind where if you fastened it wrong you could not refasten).
Huggies brand pullups have easy open sides.
Pampers brand easyups have tear open sides.
The only thing I can think of has been suggested: apply your own tape.

Thanks, she is good. For nap today she went to bed with a diaper on from Walmart and I taped the connectors. She then had on a t-shirt and one peiece pants thing that has bottons up the front which I put on backwards. It then felt kind of cold so I slipped on a turtle neck over all that. When I got her up she was still dressed and had find out that the pant thing had snaps in the diaper area and unsnapped them and took the diaper off. I m going to get a potty chair to just put our to let her get use to it and start in the spring. I never train with pull ups I think they are too much like diapers and I think and everyone is different if your going to train use potty pants. I then use a diaper just at nap time and night time and for awhile while we work on it when we go away. I don't think she is ready her lauguage skills are a little behind. She was 2 in Dec. She is the kind of child who likes to take things apart she won't leave the sheet on her bed either. I 'm thinking of getting her some kind of toy that would be safe to take to bed that she could play with until she falls asleep and redirect her fun.
