I don't like Sean, only because it is not spelled like it sounds.
I don't like Aiden because it seems to me like one of those "precious" names.
Julian is not a favorite either.
I don't have a problem with any of the girl's names. I like the old fashioned names, especially if there is a family connection.
If I had naming my daughter over again, I would go for a more old fashioned family name....Emma, Amelia, Louisa. One name I think is super cute is Jemima, but no one ever uses it.

Just worry about loving your kid, not it's name. The fact is, kids are just kids and a name will not make them unique.

the parents IQ is lowered when they take a name and spell it in the most dumbest way.

Simon - Psymon, I kid you not....I know someone personally....

Katelyn - Caightlin

like are you kidding.....

Probably because of the pancake syrup connection.

WhileI also think you should use names you like, I woudl suggest you not listen to someone who considers anyone with opinions that differ from his/her a moron. Nor to someone who resorts to name calling when they cannot think of a reasoned response. We probably should also toss in the practice of calling a child "it" Nut hey, I am just a big idiot anyway - most of my kids have fairly unique names. I better call Mensa and tell them they messed up big time.

No need to get defensive. You are well within your rights to name your children silly names, but it will not change the fact that, chances are, your child is simply ordinary. Here's the good news, having ordinary children is perfectly okay.

O think the actual "correct" spelling of "Katelyn" is Caitlin.

for boys--Quincey---my grandfather's name

distinctive names, but not too "weird"
