Anyone out there involved in Girl Scouts? I need help!
Okay, so here's my story: my daughter has been in Scouts since kindergarten (she's in third grade now). About 10 days ago we were delivering cookies, and she was wearing her vest. We went to the grocery store after that, stopped at her dad's and came home. Somewhere along the lines, her vest was lost! Every last incentive patch, fun patch, pin and try-it she has earned over the last four years was on that vest! In fact, after this year's cookie patches and Brownie Quest awards went on it, it would have been FULL! It's gone. As in nowhere to be found GONE! I have retraced our steps, contacted stores, placed ads, called the council office and her troop leader. No one has seen it.
My major dilemma is replacing the incentive patches from the cookie and fall product sales - she had pretty much earned them all! Does anyone out there have any extras from the last two years? Moderator cut: Please DM me to make special arrangements.
I also need a breast cancer awareness fun patch that no one seems to have in stock anymore (looks like the pink ribbon logo, about 2 1/2 inches high).
If anyone out there can help me with this, I would be eternally grateful! If not, thanks for listening!
Kim

I will try and see if a friend of mine has them. In the meantime have you tried looking on Ebay? I did a quick search on there and I found some sort of patches. I didn't look at all of the listings so I don't know if anyone was selling what you are looking for. If my friend has any or knows where to find some I'll DM you.
The puter I'm using has no g or q so I have to copy and paste.

I have some from last year..and possibly the year before. I will have to check. Both my daughters have been in Girl Scouts for years (oldest 10 yrs and youngest 6) so I totally understand. That is HUNDREDS of dollars worth of activities.

I did look on ebay, but I only found one cookie set amongst a huge lot of others that I don't need, and the gal wanted $25 for the lot! I asked if it didn't sell if she would piece it out so I could get what I needed...I'm still waiting!

Thanks! I appreciate it! I would only want them if they are extras, though!

Did you check at her dad's in the cushions of his couch? Under the seats of your car?

Yup - literally took apart both houses and my car. You just watch - as soon as I get it all reassembled on a new vest, the old one will appear!

It's just laying in wait somewhere. Did she stick it in a pocket? Or could she have put it in a grocery bag? Backpack? Diaper bag (have babies?)?The cupboard or refrigerator? (Seriously, when I was young I put things in places because I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing).

LOL! Yes, we thought of that, too. I thought it might have made it's way into a grocery bag, but no luck! It has so many patches on it, it can't be folded up easily, so it's pretty noticeable. On the upside, my car and house are a lot more organized now!
