Just wondering what to take the kids to see...

Yogi? Narnia? Other?

What would you recommend for two elementary aged boys?

We just took a group of boys (ages ranging from 9 - 15) to see the new Harry Potter and they loved it. There is a bit of kissing in the film, though, so if you're not comfortable with that I'd prolly go for Narnia or Tron.

Despicable Me is really good, and where we live it's at the dollar theater so if you haven't seen it yet perhaps you could save some $$.

What about the new Disney movie Tangled? I think both boys and girls would enjoy it.

I would take them to Narnia, but that's because I want to see it too.

My daughters (18 and 24) and I were planning on seeing a movie together this holiday season. I want to see "Tangled", or "Yogi", or "Gulliver", but they want to see something nasty - R rated or PG-13, at least. After kids grow up, why is it only us moms who want to see the fun kid movies?

You can also sign up for a free month of Netflix & get it streamed through your tv, Wii, or XBox. Really decent selection.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, reps to all. After talking it over with the boys, I think it's going to be a toss up between Tron and the new Harry Potter flick. The rest we'll catch on Netflix.

I've heard this latest Harry Potter flick doesn't make sense for people who haven't read the parallel book.
