boys with girls names
For a long time, we have seen girls being named with names that were once boys names. But the other day, I met some parents who have given their son a girls name. The call their son Jessy but the name on the birth certificate is actually Jessica.

That's scary, but there are men with names like Carroll, Whitney, Alice (Cooper), I'll think of more...

My husbands name is Jody and he hates it. Anytime he meets someone new there is a joke made about how it's usually a girls name

I dislike when guys are named girl names... like Stacey or Kim, etc.
However, sometimes I like when girls have boy names, for example Charlie.

Many girls' names were originally boys' names, like Ashley and Lindsey, and they are family names. I don't know why the heck a boy would be named Jessica, though.
To Rhaven, you know who "Jody" is in the military, don't you? That's who I think of when I hear of a boy named Jody.

I've known quite a few men with the name Kelly, so many that it doesn't even strike me as feminine anymore.

I've known men named Shannon, Tracey and Jody but never thought much of it. Jessica would be kinda weird.
