All that will do is ensure she does the opposite of what her father wants. Why some parents cannot get rid of that medeival mentally of the virginal female is beyond me. It takes 2 to tango, and often the girls are the aggressors.

I am 16 and I just kinda want to know something. I could have gotten my license a long time ago. I can get a job and have applied to a few so money isn't the issue. She gives me an excuse everyday on why I can't get one. One day I'm immature, the next I didn't unload the dishwasher (I will not do dishes. I have literally cleaned the house instead of doing them sometimes) etc... To my knowledge I'm a decent kid. Never tried anything illegal, no drugs, alcohol, etc and I don't have a boyfriend nor have I ever done anything more than one kiss in my life. I don't have a curfew but even if I did the only time I would come home late is after diving which ends at 8:30. She absolutely hates driving me places and I just don't understand why either she won't let me get my license or why she screams at me every single time she has to take me anywhere. (it is an excessive list: pole vaulting, gymnastics, diving and church)
