DELTONA, Fla. - An angry Deltona father whacked his teenage daughter's boyfriend with a metal pipe after finding the boy naked in his daughter's room. Authorities say the father, 45, didn't even know his daughter had a boyfriend or that the youngster had been sneaking into the home for more than a year.

If that had been my daughter, the boy wouldn't have been the only one in pain. If he's been coming there for a year it "sho aint rape"! I'd bust her butt so bad that if she did it again, she'd have to do it standing up! But they may have been doing a little that already! lol
If that happened in our home, the boy wouldn't be walking anytime soon, and my daughter would be wishing she hadn't invited her boyfriend to be naked in her room. Her father would NEVER put up with that. There would be lasting consequences for that boy and our daughter.
The boy should have considered himself lucky! I know my hubby and it would have turned out a lot worse then this did! For both kids!!! And then to be charged after the father called the cops?? This is "their" home for goodness sake...their daughter....when did it become a crime to protect it?? Hey, the boy is still alive--he should really be thanking his lucky stars!!

That's the bad part about it, cyn. Prosecutors would probably come back and say what's he protecting? His daughter wasn't being raped. She kept having him come back over and over for a year? How can you protect against something that is "consensual"? I'm not taking up for the kid who needs a couple of hanging items wrapped around his neck. But the way thes crazy lawsuits are going and people winning, it wouldn't surprise me for something like that to happen!
Well first off..they should have been a bit more aware of what was going on in their daughter's life. Secondly, I would think if he had been coming into my daughter's room for a YEAR I would have known it. Thirdly, ONE laceration would have been minor if it had been my daughter. ONE? He is lucky I would think. I mean Geez, he walked away from it didn't he? Most fathers would have beat the little Ba$TTard to death or at least TRIED. Then to put a father in jail for this? It just reinforces the belief that kids have that they can get away with ANYTHING.

Are you people joking me??? You actually think the dad should have chased the boy down and beat him??? No, that was wrong. It is one thing for the dad to get the boy to think he was going to hurt him it is another thing altogether to actually hurt them. The girl INVITED the boy into the house. I seriously doubt the dad ever thought his child was in danger, he was just pissed as hell and that is not a good enough reason for violence.
