How do you ban sex?

My one biggest was cleaning their bathroom. I wasn't doing it under any circumstances. Teenage boys are gross.

We keep it simple with 3 rules for everyone in our home.

Respectful
Responsible
Fun to be around

Which covers everything. =)

We have the no drugs/alcohol rules, be respectful/honest/responsible/kind rules, etc.- the usual. We also have a very strict "wear your own clothes" rule. My 15 & 12 yo dd's can fit into each others shirts and are always trying to wear each others. Problem is, neither of them likes when the other steals THEIR shirts, but have no problem stealing the other's! I don't get why they can't just agree to share- I guess it's just too hard So until they can figure it out, there's a punishment for stealing clothes (unless the other agrees to loan it to you- this is the case with my 12 yo and 10 yo ds. Sometimes she wears his athletic shorts. He has no problem with it).

Do not leave your jars of Mr. Zog's Sex Wax laying around the house. Grandma might pop in for a visit and she has a weak heart.

Once again, bonus points if you are laughing right now.

My mom was pretty lenient with me growing up, but I was just a good kid (she always told me she couldn't figure it out.. she was a "wild child" when she was young). So contrary to the posts I've been seeing on here, I've been allowed to drink with a few friends in the house since my senior year of high school- although she still doesn't really like it. It's rare, though.

I was never allowed to swear though until I got to college.
Wasn't allowed to yell for her from another room.
Don't bring wild/stray animals home.

Just no smoking. But nobody smokes so it wasn't a hard rule to follow. Although my husband and son occasionally light up a cigar in the backyard.

I guess you make sure they don't go off by themselves together and see that you are always home when they are.
