It was a tragic accident that could've happened to any of us. Who would've known that a treadmill could cause something like this?
Hopefully at least this will raise awareness of this danger.

I would have never thought about the power cord to a treadmill being able to become a noose...

Awful.

Makes you really PAY attention to what your little ones are doing b/c tragedy literally happens in seconds.

May she rest in peace.

I'm taking the risk here, while we will keep her in our prayers
Is it me, or nowadays some parents are way too careless and preoccupied?
what rope/cord is on a treadmill? and how could that happen?
Lord have mercy on our children

This is really sad. Cords on window blinds, strings on jackets, etc. so many things that look so innocent until tragedy occurs.

the cords on jackets are extremely dangerous for even an adult,
one day mine worked it's way loose and got caught in the hood of the car one time
and another incident hwere it got caught in a car door after I shut it. there a little
metal do-hickey on the ends of the cord that can be extremely dangerous, it's on a lot of spring jackets and winter as well.
