We have a shed in the back yard and if the kids are still living here at 28 I don't really care how messy they keep it.

It is not just this generation this happens with. My own father (59) lived with my grandmother for the last five years of her life and this sort of thing went on ALL THE TIME! Now that she is gone, he has moved into my sister's home and she is constantly complaining about his mess.
