Please help me pick nursery bedding.
OK - so I have finally narrowed it down to two bedding choices. They are actually the same bedding style, just different colors. I need you help to decide which one to pick.
Here they are.
This one I woud paint the walls a white wainscoating on the bottom and pink on the top of the walls.

This one I would paint the walls a white wainscoating on the bottom and a light green on top.

My instinct is to go with the first one because I think the green would pop on a pink wall more than pink would pop on a green wall. But I am not good at this at all and I cannot make up my mind!
So what do you think? Which one do you like?

I have aversion to pink walls (you asked!! ) Light green walls calm a person down - which you will need once the baby comes. Pink bedding looks cuter, too, - much better than the washed-down green set. [[Actually I have aversion to the pink color, but this particular bedding set is cute]]. Green walls can also be used later for a variety of purposes, while pink will need to be re-painted.

Personally, I prefer the green quilt. Not sure about the pink walls. Could look ok but you must be very careful on the color. Could end up pepto-bismol looking
By the time DD was 2, I'd about had my fill of pink. It seemed that was all I saw for 2 years! Things seem to be not so "pink or blue" now (that was 18/19 years ago) so that may not be the case so much...

Keep in mind they grow out of it in a few months and it becomes storage box fodder
Green is safe in case you get a boy.

Green quilt with white walls (as shown) would be my preference. Then you can change quilts and colors as you wish.

Ive seen that bedding, and it is so cute! I think OP is having a girl...love it best in the green...pink is TOO much. And, if you have to paint a wall pink...go with a blush..just a slight tinge of pink..

I would go with the green quilt. Also, I would paint the walls yellow or even a light blue (who says a girl can not have light blue walls????--The quilt is "girly" and I am sure the rest of the decor is girly.) Anyway, both those colors are in the quilt and you could match one of those for the walls.

I know you'll think it's crazy but don't buy either! They're decoration and can't really be used on your baby ( read online the dangers of bedding and crib bumpers). Get a ton of onesies for the beginning and a few of the swaddle type blankets- I promise it's all you'll need in the beginning. Even now my toddlers kick the covers off immediately!!
What was terribly useful were the peapod slings and any 'bed' that could be moved room to room. Put a million things up on the walls and stuff instead.
( Enjoy your new baby!!!! )
