I think my wife couldn't do this alone and her work success would suffer for it and that we make a good team in raising our son the best we can.

Rather ironic that thus far, only 3 of us have commented on this post. I am a big believer in this. I think broken families or a lack of mother and father at the get go, are major factors in today's many ills. I think the role of fatherhood is sadly diminishing in our society. Some women, by choice, go into single parenthood alone and many do fine jobs raising their children. However, it's much more difficult to do and no matter how incredible a mother is, there is no substitution for children being raised by 2 loving parents.

I believe that it can be done and single women are doing it. But I think it is better for two parents to raise a child
