Welcome home

We were in our house about 2 months ; it was only 3 years old but had beige carpets. The previous owners also had two boys who were younger than ours. So I figured that the carpets would stay ok.

Not so. Within two months both of my boys had barfed in almost every single room. Living room got it, stairs got it, hallway even got it. Then the entrance way into our room even got it. And of course they couldnt do it where it would not be noticed ; that would ask too much.

You're not a parent until..... you start telling your child, "One day you will tell me I was right". "Wait until you have your own kids". Or you find yourself repeating YOUR parents.
Teenagers are the toughest! I'll take puking in the car anyday, over the battles of "WHY" and "Everybody else is doing it", "So and So's parents are letting them".
I had quoted my 17 y.o. son on another thread.
During a heated discussion, he was extremely frustrated at my comment, he said to me " Why do you have to be such an aweful parent, you always have to do everything right! (Was that an insult or a complement?) And the same night "I'm not a good kid because of you, I was just born that way!!!" LOL ROTFLMAO!
