Well looks like a sensible choice in many (most) cases. It might be weird but at least it shows the child that she can't go everywhere she wants.

That video was horrible! I can't believe someone would actually do that to their child.

I would call the cops, and I'm not a person one would easily think is too easy on kids. However, that...was WAY over the line.

I didn't see the kid fighting it. Not a big deal.

I would have prefered she just sit down and wait till the kid got up but some bleeding heart woulda had a fit over that to
the drag was fun most likely .. kids are kids ...

Okay in general I dont see anything wrong with a child wearing a backpack harness. However, i think this was ridiculous. MY old dog drives me nuts sometimes when he decides he doesnt want to walk. And even as i hold my 23lb 14 month old in my arms I would NEVER drag my dog. that being said there is no way in hell i would ever drag a child like that. Being sick and apaprently having no patience is no excuse to drag a child like that! And i really think its a lame excuse to say the child liked it. Her excuses that is she sick and the child wouldnt walk and that the child liked it just that, excuses! Im sure if this mother could have thought of any other exucses to defend her she would have thrown them out too.

Wow. Obviously you don't have kids. Second, I think your perspective needs to be seriously re-calibrated.
