I'm 16, my parents and I don't get along, and they really don't have the financial means to take care of me. Could my aunt get custody of me, somehow.. without my parent's signing me over?

More of the same from
i'm 16 & i've waited 3 years to attempt emancipation.. ...

Since you dislike your parents so much and WANT emancipation, why do you NOT want them to relinquish parental rights?

Do you think that this is something that your aunt and your parents could discuss? My neice was in the same situation a couple of years ago. She was living with her father, and her mother (my sister) lived out of state. She wasn't getting along with her father or step-mother, so they agreed that she could live with me.

She kept the same medical benefits through her father's insurance, and her father was able to contact he school and advise them that she was residing with me, and all was fine.
