As a former preschool teacher I am sickened by this. As a parent, I think she needs to go away for a long, long time...they don't like pedophiles very much in jail.

They should make an example of her and the child care center. I personally do not understand how someone would be that brazen in a child care environment. Lack of supervisor is clearly present. She has to be with one child by her self when doing this stuff.

I was taken aback by my own response to the story: I wasn't surprised in the least. I suppose that in my advancing years I'm just becoming too callous and jaded with some of the human garbage out there.

Now I'm sure that punishment in the form of lenghty prison sentences will be dealt out to these scumbags as per the laws of Britain. But for myself I don't see the punishment aspect as being overly important right now, that can be dealt with by those who are charged with administering such things.

No, if it were up to me to deal with this trio (probably a good thing it isn't) I would look first at solving the immediate problem at hand. They have proven that they are an outright danger to society, and specifically to society's most innocent and helpless members. So short of putting them to death (and I'm not a proponent of the death penalty) the only thing I would believe to be a satisfactory answer to the threat they pose is a sentence of life removed from society. No second chances, no parole, no release on humanitarian grounds or due to old age at some point. That's it, you're done, bye-bye for as long as you manage to live.

Perhaps they could spend the rest of their days turning big rocks into little rocks inside some hell-hole of a prison, or some such similar scenario along those lines. I dunno - I really couldn't care less about them. But I believe that being contained in a facility where they could actually be put to work doing something that would generate funds to go towards paying some of the expenses incurred for warehousing them until the end of their days would be a better solution.

I know that the lock 'em up and throw the key away attitude is cold, cruel and old hat but why should we show any more sympathy or mercy to them than they showed to those children?

OK, how much will this man get charged with since he didn't actually touch the chidlren? I am sure his lawyers will be playing it. I sure the heck hope he doesn't get it easy.

WTF!!
That just threw me for a loop... Sounds wrong but they need to torture her until she confesses who each child was. I could not imagine the agony of not knowing whether or not my child was sexually abused. I'm sure the laws are different but doesn't child porn carry strict penalties there?
