Unusual Names
Well, I have 2 step nieces and I have always thought their names were very sweet. Their Mom is kind of a free spirit 60's flower child personality so she really wanted her daughter's to have unique names. They are Scotiana and Tenaya. I have never heard these names before and still haven't to this day.

I was a total MESS worrying about her in the hospital while trying to arrange everything myself in the wake of about 20-30 people showing up At least she was able to make a brief appearance at the shower, but she was in a lot of pain and my dad had to take her home. But it was nice that she was able to at least get to be there for a little while
I told her about Devine Grace, she liked it...she said she would think about it. But she is still considering the following names as well:
Trinity
Serenity
Annika
Thank you again for your time! I really appreciate that you remembered about her shower It was nice of you to come and ask...

Sorry to hear about your mother. I hope she is alright.
Those are nice names. She will chose the right one, sometimes these things just come to you.

ohhh, cool, shes thinking about my daughters name I sure do love it, and again, we got lots of compliments on it and havent heard of hardly any other Annikas out there. You can do some neat variations on the spelling too. The one other ive known, spelled it Anica. I thought that was cute too.
One of my bosses daughters name is Serenity. Shes anything but. lol
Im sorry to hear about your moms troubles. That does put a damper on the fun. Im sure glad to hear she's okay though!!!

Thank you all again! I have a nice running list going. I thinking I'm torturing her though lol Now she says she has too many names to choose from
But hey..keep 'em coming...sooner or later she's know the one that is just right. Like I told her, she has a list of names...just wait until you hold that little baby girl in your arms...only then will you know FOR SURE what her name is going to be...

My name is very unique. Didn't meet another till I was 20 but she spelled it differently. It is Tylaine (pronounced Tuh-laine not Tye like so many people think) My sister's name is Dena which you don't hear to often. One of my cousins is named Brailene which is unique. You've got some great names here. I'll have to keep this thread for a reference if I ever have another girl.

If we had had a little girl we were going to call her Marguerite (family name passed down each generation on husband's side). We would have called her Maggie for short. 3 boys later still waiting to use it. Might have to call our first boat Maggie instead.LOL
