Ok, I know there are a couple of other threads for baby names and I have pretty much read them ALL...lol
My daughter is having a baby end of June or early July (doc says July 2nd, I say she won't make it out of June )
She likes very unique names.
Can anyone help out here?
Thanks in advance!
For some reason cody sounds like a great name.

My daughters go to school with some girls with unique names that are very pretty and not at all weird. Here are a few:
Fern -
Echo- is she a dolphin
Journey - Is she a small town girl living in a lonely world?
Alaira
Haven
Azeala - REALLY?
Violet (she's Azeala's sister)- is there last name garden?
Sojourn
My grandmother's name is Juanita I think its a cute name. Anita is nice too.
Get out a comprehensive Atlas, and start looking for names of little towns that sound nice.
Kiamba, Phiippines
Alba Iulia, Romania
Inda Silase, Ethiopia
Tilemses, Niger
Neuquen, Argentina (NAY-you-cain)
Ioannina, Greece (ja-NEE-na)
Cynthiana, Kentucky
And my favorite, Antsirabe, Madagascar (Answer-Bay)
I saw a Brazilian movie, in which a character was named "Railde", which owing to idiosyncrasies of Brazilian Portuguese phonetics, is pronounced Hye-Yooj. That would be cool. But it was a man's name. (Initial RA = "ha", IL = "ew", and terminal DE = J.
I noticed lately that alot of boys names are now being used for little girls. My nephew's name is Cody; not sure how he'd respond to meeting a female version.
I agree I know a Brycie (like Bryce I suppose), Ashton, Morgan, Alex, Stevie. These are my daughters friends off the top of my head that sound like they could be boys names, but they're all girls.

I knew a girl named Cody. She was super pretty! Her middle name was Michelle. It had a nice ring to it. This was when I was in college btw.
