$50 per carseat? or for both? I am a germophobe so my biggest issue is with the cleanliness of the car seat. BTW just let the kids seat in the front of the car while you install their seats so you do not have to worry about chasing them. Just make sure you keep the keys in your pocket.
$50 each for the seats.

I agree, however there's no way I could handle hauling around 1 carseat, let alone 2. I could bring them, and check them in, I am worried about them getting damaged. I am hesitant to even bring the stroller because we've had one get damaged by the airlines before and didn't realize until a few days after we arrived home. I still might consider bringing the seats, but they would be checked, no way I am hauling them around.

Right. Check the car seats, they do not count as luggage. When I checked mine I wrapped then in thick plastic at home so they wouldn't get scratched.

My pediatrician told me Dimetap is ok. Or even, Dremamine for motion sickness, plus it makes them a little tired...so that always helps. Definitely a stroller cause you can take it right to the door. I also had a sit and stand when mine were younger and it was a life saver. Plus, we stacked all our crap on it, too. I always hit the dollar store and buy a bunch of stuff that they normally don't get on a average day and make a "special" goodie bag just for the trip. So, it's all new to them and might keep them occupied for a bit. A new movie they haven't seen yet w/a portable DVD player. I've even seen the players as cheap as $25 before. Maybe a leap pad for your older one? Or mine always just love when I talk to them and play games with them. Also, if it's not a full flight, ask a stewardess for another seat...it will make everyone happy if the babies have a little more room to spread out. The first row in Coach (right after first class ends) is has the most foot room because there is no seat in front of you...you could always ask someone to trade seats with you. Good luck

I think he is talking about checking luggage. I don't think they would charge for a carseat but they would charge extra if you packed it up.

Oh, okay. I have to use them on the way to the airport so I wouldn't be packing them up.

What about drinks for them? I know they won't even allow water through any more, although some airports have
let me through with it in baby bottles for formula before. Does anyone know about Orlando or Minneapolis St Paul Airports
in regards to this. I'd love to be able to bring juice boxes and milk with us.

Last time I travelled they allowed milk and juice boxes but those rules seem to change all the time. Better check the airline website.
