Well I would have just said that it can only happen if:

1. She has made it through college and it gainfully employed
2. She marries another college grad who is equally or more so gainfully employed.
3. They are both at least 35 years old.
4. They own their own home
5. They both have earned at least $100k in each of their 401k's

and when they accomplish all that then the baby magically appears in the mommy's belly.

That reminds me. My father knew a man whose girlfriend won't marry him until he owned a house, not just bought a home, but it paid off first! He did it too! That's love!

Well if I followed your list I wouldn't have kids yet.
I married after graduation but before graduate school. I do not have 100k in my 401k and I had both of my kids before 35. O yeah and I am a SAHM so not gainfully employed either.
