That's a tough one. Such an extreme view coming from a 16 year old seems to imply that the relationship between the two of you is already strained? If so, then finding the pictures could merely be ammunition in that ongoing battle and nothing more. Sit down and talk it out. Seems resolvable to me, unless the fault-line runs really deep.
Time for a serious adult talk with the kid. They need to understand mom & dad do these kind of things for each other and it's not harmful or bad. Just let them know you love your Hubby and it was meant for his eyes only.

I was just talking about something similar to this in another thread. The guys I work with spouses have mistakenly sent me texts on what they wanted to do to me when I get home. Oops wrong number! Man oh man, if I could get some pics, I would probably have a heart attack! LOL........
Sit them down and explain to them that it was wrong of you to do, however when you are an adult like me showing affection to your father whom i am married too isn't that bad.
Although you guys need to show some respect by not touching your father's personal belongings in the first place. And why were they playing on his phone? Sounds good to me.
And You are far from what your kid called you...if it was some random man or say your husbands brother..(by the way does he have one...he is cute. lol) then yes Lucy you would have some explaining to do.
