Yeah, I wouldn't want that either. She does call the other moms of the kids Mommy whatever, but it's not a mommy in the same way she calls me so I'm ok with that. Funny, growing up though me and my friends always called each other's mothers "mom".

Simply being able to birth a child doesn't make one a mother. Parent, yes...but I look at "mother" as a title that is earned, not inherited. Sure, your babysitter doesn't have the right to that title in regard to your child. But we also know there are a lot of parents out there who are definitely NOT mothers and fathers.
