Tenn., Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Authorities in Tennessee said a 4-year-old boy apparently broke out of his home, obtained beer and broke into a neighbor's house to steal Christmas presents.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said Hayden Wright, 4, was found wandering the streets of his Chattanooga neighborhood while wearing a little girl's dress and drinking a beer at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, WTVC-TV, Chattanooga, reported Thursday.

This part blows my mind!

Grandpa keeps beer in a cooler on the back porch. Dad is in prison. Mom can't keep the child inside the house.

Why wouldn't CPS challenge custody?

at first it was kind of funny to picture a 4 year old boy (I have one) walking the neighborhood in a dress drinking a beer. It is almost too crazy to be true. But the part about the dad being in jail and him wanting to go too is sad. I hope mom gets a better lock for the door.

That'll be a memorable event when the kid grows up. He learned to drink a beer at such an early age, way younger than what's typically expected. LOL..............
