Default We live in a sick society.

I haven't followed this sad story a great deal but I can only conclude the perpetrator observed the family for days and knew when there would be an opportunity to take this child.

Frightening.

all i can say is what's wrong with the world these days.

the family must be going through hell, especially when she wasn't found before her birthday.

I really hope she's found soon

I really feel for the family, i really do. I hope by some grace of god she comes back safe and sound.
But i have to ask what the parents were up to not hiring babysitters.

I think if everyone posts this incident on every msg board they belong to might help. I live in the states and just happened to stumble on to the story while reading the thread about the pregnant 14 yr old.

I am not that optimistic.

I can only hope that those with children take every precaution to prevent another incident like this. I don't know that I would ever forgive myself if my negligence had resulted in something like this.

Her parents are both doctors, FWIW.

The loathsome pervert must have known exactly when to strike. Chilling thought that such things can happen anywhere, anytime.

sls

I am betting it is someone who they may have socialized and became friendly with.

They were staying at an exclusive resort and had been joining other guests for dinner for several evenings--setting up some sort of a pattern.
