I agree, that anyone over 3 years older than a 16 yo who wants to have sex or is having sex with said 16 yo. does have something going on. !6 might be AOC in a lot of states, but a 16 yo is still a child no matter what the AOC is. The AOC laws were put into place to protect certain people of certain ages from being charged with a crime, but that still does not mean that a 40 yo. has the right to have sex with a 16 yo. just because they are at the AOC. Any decent and respectable 40 yo. will at least go no younger than 18 yo., which is legal age of being an adult in most states, for their sexual partner. Heck a 40 yo. is old enough to be the 16 yo.'s parent and possibly a grandparent. If the 40 yo.'s desire is to have sex, well he/she can just as easily have sex with someone closer to their age or at least with someone who is considered an adult. There is no reason for a 40 yo to be having sex with someone under the age of 18 unless they are just sick.

I'm an 18yo currently dating a 21yo who i met when i was 17 and he was 20. My parents adore him, he's a very respectful man and we have my family's blessing. Hopefully we'll be like other couples that some have posted here and still be together in 30 years.

Personally I didn't like that my fiancé was 19 and I was 22/23, when we first got intimate, and I know that's not really considered to be an age gap by many, lol.

girls mature faster than boys. this is ongoing until the guy hits late 40's, that is when she divorces him gets the cash, and started dating guys 1/2 her age.

You call the shots in the sense that your daughter is answerable to you. Nobody else is, and if you threatened anyone with violence, you ought to be dealt out some of it yourself or processed by the appropriate legal authorities.

There's a big difference between a 14 and 15 year old having sex and a 16 and 40 year old doing the same though.

Well when you consider that one of the youngest known fathers was a 12 yo. boy from England and the youngest known mother was a 5 yo. from Peru. Then I think that the math could very well add up to a 40 yo. possibly being old enough to be a grandparent of a 16 yo.
