i suspect that the physical pain she is enduring---which is horrible, would be nothing compared to the emotional pain she would have endured is she had not at least tried to save him...

Nice for a positive nanny story to be heralded. Too much of the time nannies are approached with negativity and suspicion, due to the press glamorizing the few truly horrible cases of child abuse that have been carried out by nannies.
I saw this on the Today show -she had only been with the family for 2 months- a single dad- didn't mention anything about the mom but that little boy just loves her- what a true hero !!
