No, but I am looking for a military type of camp for my kid next summer. Or possibly a military type of school. The kid keeps getting kicked out of camps and schools because of behavior problems.

Yes I would and I would go with him. Ted Nugent is a good man as us Michiganders all know. Some of you folks should read up on him.

I don't see the comparison here ?? Was Uncle Ted involved in anything remotely similar to Whacko Jacko ? People really need to form opinions based on what they have seen for themselves and stop living in fear of things they know nothing about. Uncle Ted would probably teach your kids values they won't learn anywhere else.

Uncle Ted is just one of many nicknames Ted Nugent has earned over his lengthy career: The Nuge, Motor City Madman, etc.

Ted Nugent is a family man and one of the few hard rockers who has admirably stuck by his lifelong anti-drugs and anti-drink stance throughout his career. He is a loving and devoted husband married to the same woman and a devoted father of four children, unlike many celebrities and rock stars.

Did anyone read his Mission Statement for the Kamp for Kids:

The Kamp for Kids will teach hands on values and conservation of land, air and water. We will cover wildlife management, conservation ethics, positive peer pressure and the pitfalls of drug abuse, alcohol and tobacco products. We will teach with professionals, volunteers and Moms and Dads from all over the country. The volunteer staff of “The Kamp for Kids “ will teach certified NRA shooting sports classes and archery programs. We will strive to bring the latest in outdoor education to all that we do!

JUST A FEW OF UNCLE TED’S ACCOMPLISHMENTS OUTSIDE OF HIS BRILLIANT MUSICAL CAREER:

You are obviously a misinformed parent basing your prejudice on second hand information. He was giving the nickname because of all of the mentoring programs and support throughtout Michigan of countless childrens groups. Like many other parents don't shelter your kids , highten their fears of the world and build them inferiority complexes based on ignorance and your own fears.
