just off phone to nhs nurse she reasured me everything ok after answering lots of questions ,,, but to keep eye and if anything changes take to hospital ,,

So even though I am OK with lots of things, if a kid gets a decent bump on the head, I would take them to the hospital.

Keep your eye on him. Right. If anything changes it's of to the E.R. Fingers crossed for the little guy.

Dear Liloulou......what ended up happening to your little one? Did you take her to the doc? What did they say? My son hit his head pretty much in the same way, about 28 hours ago. He appears fine and has had no symptoms, but I am still worried there may be something going on inside his brain (hematoma). It seemed he hit the back of his head pretty hard. Thanks.

Please take your child to the doctor. Even if the OP's child was perfectly fine, your child's situation is unique.
