Different culture, different rules. Not saying I agree with it, because I absolutely don't, but nothing to be shocked and outraged about. Smoking is very common to the point of being the norm in most of SE Asia. Virtually the entire adult population smokes and it's not uncommon for kids and teens to be smokers. Can't say that it's normal to see a toddler doing it, but it doesn't surprise me.
These third world people are being hooked in by tobacco to replace all the enlightened people who realize they are killing themselves with smokes. Big Tobacco doesn't care who it gets its money from...
Yes, the Asians are big smokers. So are the "Arabs." My sister in law's friend's husband makes his money off big tobacco in the middle east...my husband and I call him the 'legal drug pusher' because he works for tobacco companies. Where are the ethics of people? No, wait, the British lass married him for his $$$$. or pounds...
