Hi,

Hubby, his dad and I are looking to relocate from Pittsburgh Pa to Butler County or somewhere within job distance out of Allegheny county.

It may not be until next year or so. But I just want to look for some good small towns that is country like or country through and through.

My husband and I both are janitors cleaning corporate offices in Greentree Pa, I know that there is a good cleaning company in Cranberry that cleans Westinghouse facility and pays better than our company.

Rental homes would be best for us to start that allows 2 or 3 dogs and 1 caged pet (guinea pig), I know that country/old farm homes rental is hard but I know many times landlord allows multiple pets in rental units. Who knows we may be able to buy a home then.

I do not want to live in the heart of a booming town but would not mind being in the driving distance. I don't drive but I do have rides. We have 2 vehicles so if my husband is working, his dad can ride me to work.

I would not mind living further from Butler either north or north east like not far from National Forest but we need employment more than anything so anything will do.

thanks

Butler County has changed A LOT. Country through and through....you better look at Armstrong County.

I noticed that about Butler. My uncle lives right by Freedom Road and I was told that Cranberry is looking more like a mini city.

Your uncle is right and it isn't just in the Cranberry area. The growth is now moving throughout southern and western Butler County.
