Default Douglassville/Birdsboro Race Relations

Hi everyone,

I am considering a move to the Birdsboro/Douglassville area and was wondering if anyone knew about how the town and school system is with regards to race. I am part of a biracial family and have two teenage children. Obviously the percentage of black residents and students is low in this area, but I haven't heard of the same problems as Boyertown. Any responses are welcome and very much appreciated.

There has been no issues of biracial families like there was in Boyertown that I know of. The birdsboro/douglassville area is a nice area and there is always families moving in from different backgrounds.

My BIL lives in Birdsboro with his wife and kids. I haven't heard them say anything about racial problems in the schools, and I'm sure they would have mentioned it if it were an issue.
