Default Beaver County

What are the best cities to live in Beaver County? Affordable housing, good transit, friendly, low crime and cost of living etc.?

All of Beaver County is affordable, and has a low cost of living. You're looking for public transportation, so I assume you don't want to be out in the country. The Beaver County transit authority runs buses in most of the small towns throughout the county. They don't go out in the country. I'll list the most desirable and expensive towns first. The town of Beaver is first, then Chippewa. The bus runs out to the Wal-Mart plaza in Chippewa, but there are no houses there. The next places would be Hopewell, Center, Vanport, Monaca, South Heights, Rochester, Bridgewater, Baden, Conway, and Freedom. Beaver Falls is bad. Aliquippa is downright dangerous. Ambridge is turning into an Aliquippa. Midland is too far away from anything. I'm not sure about New Brighton. It's next to Beaver Falls.

New Brighton is old, and has little shopping for daily needs type stuff. There are some nice places "back of New Brighton" as my mom used to say (east of the city) that have New Brighton addresses.

Yea Aliquippa is pretty bad, but Beaver Falls is not. Downtown BF isn't too great, but the college hill area is much better. houses here will go anywhere from 50k to 110k. and there are even a couple shops and things(like Beaver Falls Coffee and Tea Company)
