Thumbs up Where did you move to in PA and what do you like most about it?

Thought this would be fun to do And did you move here from another state or just moved from one area in PA to another? I haven't moved yet, but will move to another part of PA in the next few years

We have lived in upstate NY, West Virginia, VA, and have lived in four counties in PA: Montgomery, Delaware, Chester and Lehigh, where we live now. My husband and I grew up in Delaware - and I've lived in every county there - all three of them!

We love our small town in Pennsylvania. The schools are good, the people are friendly and the rolling hills dotted with forests and farms are good for the soul.

I grew up in Erie, but left to go to school in Ohio. I stayed in Ohio for 27 years, and recently returned to Pennsylvania; now I live in the opposite corner of the state, in Montgomery County, outside of Philadelphia. It's been an adjustment to be back in Pennsylvania, but I'm coping.

Default From NJ

I came from Northern New Jersey 13 years ago.
I love that it is not as crowded on the streets and highways.
I think that Brodheadsville is a wonderful place. Everyone has a nice big plot of land to be on.
It took a bit of getting use to to find the closest stores.
Although two grocery and many fast foods and pharmacies are very nearby.
Now we find it not a problem to go to Easton, Phillipsburg, or Whitehall.....We have learned a back way through Palmerton to get to all the Whitehall shopping. Easton has everything you need as far as Movies, shopping and Malls also. Then if we get bored with that we head to Mt Pocono, or Wind Gap.
I love the scenery I can look out upon from this mountain location.
After a busy day visiting NJ ,or going to NYC for a broadway show.........I love to return to the peace and quiet and beauty of this place.
