Doesn't your financial institution offer it? If not, check with any local insurance agency - Allstate, State Farm, Thrivent, etc.

Default Mortgage Protection Insurance

Basically, mortgage protection insurance is a life insurance policy for the value of your home....

Usually, after settlement, insurance companies will start sending you information about "mortgage protection" insurance...

Might I suggest just getting a term life policy for the mortgage value instead? It will be much cheaper and your heirs can payoff the mortgage with it just as easily.
