Smile Relocating to Grantville/Surrounding area(s)

Interested in possibly relocating to Grantville or surrounding areas, depends on the info I can find out. I am interested in rural, not sure about renting or purchasing yet. I have a horse so either I would need some property or find somewhere to board him. I am considering this area as I have been to Penn National Racetrack several times and the area seems nice. I'm not sure of any of the bordering towns and how living there would be, so any info would be helpful & appreciated, thank you. I live on a small farm in NJ now and like rural.

Very rural and nice area, but if you are going to buy property you better decide quick. They are building a casino at Penn National Race course, and the area is going to get built up VERY quickly, if that scares you then I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Default Area(s) surrounding Grantville

Thank you for the info, could anyone tell me anything about the areas surrounding Grantville, let's say within a 10 miles radius? Which areas are nice and cost of housing etc?

Linglestown or RT39 between RT22 and RT81 exit 77. Is hot right now its more affordable then grantville area right now. The casino has made property very expensive around there. Try looking between grantville-linglestown or grantville lebanon. There you will find land for your horse.

Default Grantville Area

Thank you for the advice, as I'm looking I see what you mean about properties in Grantville vs. properties in Linglestown, what a difference. Hopefully I will find something so I can have peace & quiet.....
