any reason to stay away from the Gilbertsville area?
We have a jr.high and a sr. high student who are interested in sports and the younger one in karate. Any secret things about the area that would make it undesireable? I have been doing online searching and reading this forum and it seems like a good place for a family to move. Are there any house rentals in the area? We would like to rent for a bit before we buy so we can learn the area better but I wouldn't want to be moving the boys from their schools. We are used to driving for malls and specialty shopping so that won't matter but I would like a Walmart, Target type store close. Restaurants are important too. Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge and insight.
