Default Looking for place to live in Harrisburg

Just graduated from grad school and looking for a job in the Harrisburg area. Looking for an apartment in/around Harrisburg. I'm a "young professional" so I would like to find a place with like-minded individuals. Any suggestions on areas, or even specific apartments or apartment buildings, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What is your price range? Willing to live in the city?

If you're looking to live among young professionals, I would highly recommend living in downtown or midtown Harrisburg. If you don't want urban city but don't want suburban schlop, Camp Hill is a nice choice.

Harrisburg has plenty of apartments and townhouses for rent, from historic sublets to high-rise apartment buildings. Camp Hill has apartments as well, but it's going to be more expensive.

Capitol Heights is a good area to look. You can can a new 3 level townhouse for right around $1000 a month. No matter where you go Harrisburg is cheap.

Check out Tanglewood - it is an apartment complex in Middletown.
My boyfriend lived there while he was in college. There are some families, some young 20's... somewhat of a mix. They have a basketball court, and I believe a pool, too. Free parking in a lot. It's a nice place. There are bars nearby and the grocery store is in walking distance.

Check out Springford Townhouses on the East Shore. Nice place for singles and only a 10 minute drive downtown.
