Please think twice before moving to York County. I know many people who have moved to this area. It took them over 5 years to adjust. I moved out here three years ago. I built a beautiful home in a beautiful development, but I am miserable. I have my home on the market to head back to the Philly area. People are grossly conservative and racist, etc., etc. Its like another planet. I am so friendly and easygoing. People don't say thank you when you lend them a hand, such as holding a door open, etc. If you do get a thank you, then they are most likely not from the area. Its really sad, but these people need to relax and stop hating so much. I'd hate to discourage anyone, but I would hate to have anyone go through what I am going through right now. I can't wait to sell my house and get outta here!
