Default best place ?

So I've been reading things on PA, and was wondering what's a nice place to visit... I've been checking on Hamburg PA (knew it because of Cabelas being located there), but I guess I 'm open for other suggestions So comeon, whats a nice place to stay at in a hotel. I don't want to be in a big city such as Philly.

Harrisburg would be a great central location to stay. There are a ton of tourists who stay in this area for that reason. You have Hershey chocolate world, factory and amusement park next door...Gettysburg battlefield a half hour away along with Amish country. Plenty of recreational and historical opportunities as well. Cabelas is actually located in Hamburg, about an hour away...but Harrisburg does have a Bass Pro Shop which is pretty much the same thing.

There are a lot of nice hotels in the area, including the Harrisburg Hilton and Crowne Plaza hotels downtown.

Not really. I've gotten there in a half hour before. Mapquest says 45 minutes.

Come to Bethlehem. Tour the old historic, continental sites and have a drink or 3 with me at the Your Welcome Inn.

Come to Scranton. We're hosting the first ever convention for "The Office" October 26-28. Along with possibly getting to meet Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Steve Carrell, etc. you can also scope out the city's other sites such as the Electric City Trolley Museum, Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour, Steamtown National Historic Site, Everhart Museum, Houdini Museum, Historic Iron Furnaces, Anthracite Heritage Museum, etc. It's a nice place to spend the weekend, and we're only a half-hour away from the Pocono Mountains and about two hours away from either New York City or Philadelphia.
